American Idol Season 5 - Episode 29 Recaps

So, one-hour result show. More time for ads. More cash for Fox. More emotional moments for the contestants. And we audience just can't help but keep watching curiously to see each contestant's family and friends give blessings for them.
For the first time since the final round, all 8 idols finally had the chance to sing together in a Queen medley, and they pulled it off fine. But they didn't have to show the 'golden moments' all over again, just getting the performance a full screen would be better. The rest of the show's quite boring, we have to sit through to see the contestants get teary-eyed, but isn't it great to see how their parents look like and how much they love their meddling kids (Insert 'Awwwww'). The encores are quite pointless, but finally Bucky was booted (Insert 'Woo hoo!'). I was rooting for Ace to get kicked but nah, maybe next week. Sooner or later, he'll get to this moment. It's down to 3 girls and 3 guys now. Next week, Rod Stewart will be in the house, so expect a whole lot more of crooning in the American songbook! Also FYI, Prince is scheduled to coach and perform on the show, stay tuned for that.

PS: Bonus videos for you guys. Enjoy Kellie Pickler's rendition of 'Bohemian Rhapsody' again, or watch that new Top 8 Ford Commercial! No, I'm not gonna post the Bucky exit.
