American Idol Season 5 - Episode 31 Recaps

The bottom three. Will it ever be predictable? Last night, we shockingly watched as Paris Bennett and Chris Daughtry entered the bottom three with, of course, Ace Young. In the end, Ace was finally sent off (which should be a relief, I didn't even bother to watch his encore), but I'm still pissed off by the results. I thought Chris Daughtry has such a strong fan base, maybe his rendition of 'What A Wonderful World' was deemed sentimental and cheesy by the rocker wannabe voters. I think he did a good job, but I never expected him to be in the bottom three. The other shocker is Paris. Come on, that jazz number she did was amazing. Very grown-up and classy. How could she get so few votes? Could it be the way she talked (which is pretty much like a cartoon character), the way she looked or the voters just went nuts? How come Kellie Pickler was still safe when her performance last night was the most horrible, bored-me-to-the-core? I started to get bothered by Kellie. Looks like this whole dizzy-blond-country-chick thing was a big gimmick, like a scheme to get people's attention. It was all cute at the first time, but then too much candy will give tooth decay. So now that Ace's gone, it would be hard to see any of the survivors (even Kellie) go. Next week, Andrea Bocelli will be in the house, so the theme's gonna be classical music. Watch out for that!
Stay tuned for more idolicious recaps. Zeon...Out!
